Requesting access rights
When Actualog blocks a page or action, the Access denied page may show the exact company and roles required. Use Request access when you belong to the business process but do not yet have the needed company role.
What the request does
Submitting the request creates a company access request. It does not grant the role immediately. You can keep working in areas you already have permission to use while the request is reviewed.
Actualog records:
- the company you are trying to access,
- the role or roles requested,
- the page or action that triggered the request,
- the request type,
- the current review state.
Request types
Company join request is used when you are not a member of the company yet.
Role upgrade request is used when you already belong to the company but need additional business roles, such as Company Administrator, Product Editor, or Product Governance Manager.
Company administrator access request is used when the company does not have a Company Administrator yet and you are asking to become the first administrator.
Who reviews the request
If the company already has Company Administrators, they review join and role requests in the company user-management area.
If the company has no Company Administrator, the request is escalated to Application Administrators. Application Administrators review these requests in Admin > Orphan company requests.
If your account has a verified corporate e-mail and the company has a verified matching domain, Actualog may approve first administrator access automatically. Automatic approval is limited to this verified-domain path.
How to track the request
Open Account > Companies and scroll to Your access requests. The list shows the company, request type, requested roles, and current status.
If you open another page that requires the same role while your request is still open, Access denied shows Access request pending and links back to the tracking list.
Common statuses are:
- Awaiting company administrator approval: a Company Administrator can approve or reject it.
- Awaiting Application Administrator review: Actualog platform administrators are reviewing it because the company has no local administrator.
What to do while waiting
Use a verified corporate e-mail whenever possible. It helps Actualog confirm that you are connected to the company and can unlock trusted auto-join or first-administrator paths when the company domain is verified.
If the company cannot use domain e-mail proof, include ownership or authorization evidence in the request message or contact Actualog support. Examples include an official website contact, a business registry reference, or a message from an authorized company representative.
After approval
After approval, refresh the page or choose the company again from the company selector. If the role was granted but the page still shows Access denied, sign out and sign in again so the current session refreshes your permissions.
If the request is rejected
Ask the reviewer what evidence or role is missing. You can verify a corporate e-mail, correct the selected company, or contact support if you believe the rejection was based on incomplete information.
